Joshito Spartan Unveils First Studio EP “King Solomon”

Rising Ghanaian artist Joshito Spartan has officially released his latest extended play (EP) titled King Solomon, a project that blends lyrical depth, storytelling, and bold expression. The four-track EP takes listeners on a journey through personal growth, spirituality, and artistic confidence — all wrapped in Joshito’s signature style.

The EP features the following tracks:

  1. Push
  2. Sorry
  3. Butterfly
  4. Murda Dem (Kwame Blaq Diss)

According to Joshito Spartan, the inspiration behind the project’s title comes from one of history’s most celebrated figures — King Solomon, renowned for his extraordinary wisdom. However, the artist draws an interesting parallel between Solomon’s life and the modern-day creative struggle.

“King Solomon actually wrote over 3,000 proverbs in total, but as he began to turn away from God and commit the very things God warned him not to do, his wisdom began to wane. Not all his writings were fit to be part of the Bible — and that’s exactly why I named my EP King Solomon,” Joshito explained.

Through this creative lens, Joshito Spartan uses his music to explore themes of purpose, temptation, and redemption — reminding listeners that wisdom without discipline can fade. Tracks like Push and Butterfly highlight his versatility and emotional delivery, while Murda Dem showcases his lyrical prowess and confidence.

With King Solomon, Joshito Spartan proves that emerging artists from Ghana’s growing music scene are not just entertainers but thinkers — using sound as a medium for reflection and conversation.

The EP is now available on major streaming platforms, giving fans a reason to keep their playlists refreshed with authentic, homegrown music.
