Highlife singer Kofi Nti has revealed that he wasn’t always a fan of the late Daddy Lumba.

Speaking on Adom TV, he admitted that his loyalty initially lay with Nana Acheampong due to the famous fallout between the two legends.

Influenced by his mother’s admiration for Acheampong, Kofi Nti followed suit—until a co-tenant pointed out his striking vocal resemblance to Lumba, sparking a newfound respect for the icon.

The family of the late musician is yet to announce the date for his final funeral rites.
