Shatta Wale Granted GH₵10 Million Bail in EOCO Case

Dancehall superstar Shatta Wale has been granted bail by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) under strict conditions, his management has confirmed.
According to his media manager, Samuel Atuobi Baah, popularly known as Sammy Flex, the artiste’s legal team is working to secure his release by Thursday, August 21, 2025, after meeting the GH₵10 million bail requirement with two sureties.
Flex clarified that the case centers on tax compliance issues relating to Shatta Wale’s yellow Lamborghini and other business activities, dismissing circulating rumors of unrelated allegations.
The musician, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, voluntarily appeared at EOCO’s offices on Wednesday, August 20, accompanied by his lawyer, Cephas Biyuo, to assist with ongoing investigations.
“Mr. Mensah is cooperating fully, and we are confident the matter will be resolved soon,” Flex stated.
Management has appealed to fans and well-wishers to remain calm, avoid speculation, and trust the judicial process, assuring that regular updates will be shared as discussions with EOCO continue.
