“This Is My Last Movie!” – Lil Win Laments Clash Between His Premiere and Daddy Lumba’s Funeral

Kumawood actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has voiced his frustration over what he believes is a deliberate attempt to sabotage his upcoming movie premiere.

In an emotional outburst, Lil Win questioned why the family of the late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba chose to hold his funeral on August 2, the same date as his movie premiere scheduled for Kumasi and Accra.

“I’ve spent over a million dollars on this movie. Why would they set the funeral on the same day? I feel hated for no reason. I know most Ghanaians show me fake love,” he said.

The actor added that the short time since Daddy Lumba’s passing should’ve allowed for more thoughtful planning.

“He died just three days ago. Why the rush? Is it because of gifts? This is too much for me.”

Lil Win, clearly heartbroken, hinted that this may be the end of his journey in the movie industry:

“Maybe I should stop this movie thing. It won’t help me. Last year, people prayed for my downfall, and it happened. This year too? This might be my last movie. Soon, Ghanaians will have no movies to watch again. Trust me.”

Fans online are reacting with mixed emotions as many plead with him to reconsider, while others call for unity in celebrating both events with respect.
